A breathtaking wedding day in Niagara-On-The-Lake at Chateau Des Charmes celebrating Lindsay and Mike and the incredibly kind souls they are! To have couples inquire about our availability before planning their day is one of the most humbling experiences. Our hearts literally shatter when we aren’t available for wedding dates of couples we truly vibe with. To have these two kinds hearts planning around our availability is one of the biggest acts of love and something we will forever be thankful for. This was such a highly anticipated day because we had built such a beautiful connection through our pen pal relationship while they were confirming a date and venue.
When we finally met in person at their engagement session we were smitten with their bubbly connection and radiant kind hearts (and the fact that Lindsay made us fresh banana bread!) Knowing each other for years as littles ones through family friends, you could feel their playfulness and comfort with each other that flows with such ease. On their wedding day their happiness, bubbly love and amazing tribe of loved ones created the most buzzing energy. Everyone in attendance made us feel so loved.
They started their day at Queen’s Landing sharing laughs while everyone got ready for their reveal. Lindsay and Mike saw each other for the first time before in the gardens of Queen’s Landing. The light was whimsical and the weather was a perfect September Saturday. After capturing moments around Queen’s Landing we made our way to Chateau Des Charmes for a sunset ceremony. Lindsay said the most important part of their day (besides officially becoming husband + wife) was to get time at sunset soaking in the golden light with Mike. The universe gave us a gift. Right after they shared a champagne toast and their first kiss as husband and wife, they celebrated down the aisle and we followed them into the most beautiful, vibrant golden light in the vineyards. They were welcomed into their reception space by the “Friends” theme song and shared their first dance under string lights in the gorgeous tent of Chateau Des Charmes.
Everyone dined with the most incredible catering by Queen’s Landing with wine pairing by Chateau. We laughed, we cried, we celebrated, we danced and we ended the night with their wedding party outside Chateau playing with some sparkers, saying our final thank you’s for the experiences we shared and the beautiful moments we were able to witness and capture for them. Congratulations, L + M! We are forever grateful for your pure love + kindness.
