Canada Day long weekend, two incredibly in love humans, a beautiful outdoor celebration, a golden sunset and a whole lot of love is how we would describe Annie and Tristan’s wedding day in the glass house at  Kortright Centre in Toronto. 

Annie and Tristan have a precious story, but what makes their love story so beautiful is how much they continue to love each other each day. Tristan calls her his real life superhero. Annie is a powerhouse woman. She’s a paramedic, adventurer, dog lover and overall radiant soul who beams light and happiness. Tristan is her equal; an intelligent lawyer who loves their rescue pups just as hard and shines with such genuine kindness. Their connection inspires us, and the love they share with their village is something to admire. Long lasting friendships, strong family bonds, heartfelt speeches, sincere laughter and extreme comfort is what we witnessed. You can feel the emotion going through these images. 

These two, along with Kari Lywood Events, planned a beautiful day at Kortright Centre. Our weather could not have been more perfect. Such an earthy day from the beauty of nature and the touches that filled the space. So many down to earth souls filled this rustic venue. Annie’s hair and makeup by Eryn Shannon and her Hayley Paige dress was a beautiful expression of her soul; radiant and unique. It was so important to her to show her tattoo (which we are obsessed with because we are obsessed with tattoos). The tattoo down her spine reads “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always.” Nostalgic words that mean so much, especially to her and her mama who has the matching tattoo. Those words perfect embody the love of this day. 

What we loved most about this day was how it flowed with such love. This was day was so representative of them. From Annie’s man of honour rocking a pink blush suit, to embracing their sense of adventure and love for the outdoors with their venue, to icing their entire wedding party, to their tribe being completely present during speeches, to running through fields at sunset, to holding onto each other laughing while everyone celebrated and laughed; it was like this day was flowing with such ease and comfort. To top it off these two climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for the honeymoon. Talk about inspiration. They truly inspire us and we’re so happy to share their love.
