We were connected to Emily and Jody through a mutual friend of ours and we couldn’t be more thankful that she put us in touch. We spent a summer evening on Toronto Island documenting their connection. We are in love with their love and their free spirits. They’re planning a barn wedding next summer and we’re so excited to be apart of it!

Emily and Jody have been together for 10 years. They share a love that you know they know each other inside and out but are still so smitten with each other like the day they first met. You can feel the connection and passion they share just by looking at them. We have so much respect for their relationship. They respect each other, laugh together, have fun together, support each other and let each other follow their dreams. They are independent but at the same time have built an amazing foundation, partnership and life together. The first few years they were together they were long distance. Emily worked in Muskoka and Jody moved to Australia for school. When most couples, especially younger couples, would have separated, these two thrived. They loved each other so much to support each other on their dreams of what they wanted to experience in life. Emily went to visit him over the time he was there to share in each other’s life experiences and their love continued to grow. Fast forward to living in the city together, then moving out to Cambridge where they now live with their rescue pup. Spending time with them was like hanging out with old friends. They are so easy to be around. Documenting their love has been one of the greatest gifts of our creative career so far because they were so honest, open, authentic, adventurous and free spirited to just be in love with each other.
