Gracewood Estate Kurtz Orchard Wedding

Anne Marie and James’ July wedding day at Gracewood Estate, a part of Kurtz Orchards, in Niagara-On-The-Lake is a day that we waited very anxiously for. Having got married at Gracewood ourselves, we’re always excited to be back to experience a love filled day there. The sweet souls of these two make us even more happy. These high school sweethearts have an inspirational love. One of deep respect, solid connection and true happiness.

The day started cloudy and rainy, but we knew it was going to clear up to be a perfect day. Just as Anne Marie went to place her grandmother’s garder on her leg, the sun came out and was shining through the windows of the historical house we were getting ready in. It was an emotional moment that set the tone for the ceremony. Many tears were shed as she made her way to James. Their gorgeous asymmetrical arbor was a perfect compliment to their touching ceremony. The sun came bursting out full force right as they said I do! It was a hot one, but we knew that golden light was going to give us a pretty show.

We have never witnessed first dances more golden than these ones. After many laughs and tears during speeches, we made our way outside to the barn to watch these lovers and their parents share their first dances. The golden light was beaming through the trees in the most magical way. We chased the light through the vineyards and around the gardens, soaking in the final moments of the evening before nightfall.

Clouds rolled in, the sun fell and the dancing began! With the bon fires lit and the music playing, everyone was on cloud 9 as the night continued celebrating these two. We ended the evening with a sparkler send off to wish these two a beautiful life together. Their deep love for one another oozes from every image. Their families and friends welcomed us with open arms and made us feel a part of this amazing tribe. We left with full shining hearts for Anne Marie and James and this soulful day!
