Romantic elegance. That is how we would describe Annie and Chris’ summer wedding day in Toronto at Knox College and The Omni King Edward Hotel. Endless love and thought went into planning this downtown Toronto wedding. Every detail was meticulously envisioned by these two. From the adorable wax seals, to the unbelievable live band, to the romantic ambiance of the entire day.
As we were planning the big day with them, they asked us if there was anything special they could do to make their first look even more memorable. We had recommended instead of reading their letters separately in the morning that they could hold hands before the first look and quietly read their words to one another right before they saw each other. To be able to touch while they read some of the most powerful words they will share with one another was a precious moment to not only capture for them, but for us to witness. Being in that moment you could feel the deep connection they share and how important they are to one another.
The golden light that was pouring through the stained glass of Knox College as they said I do created the most angelic ambiance. The romantic charm transcended us to a different time and place. That feeling continued as we flowed into cocktail hour and their reception. So many amazing professionals came together to bring Annie and Chris’ vision to life and we’re so grateful to have experienced it.
