We got goosies when we read Stephanie and Ryan’s first words to us when she spoke about her love for him. She stated how she struggled to find the words to explain her deep love for Ryan and said, “struggling to put how I feel into words is one of the reasons why we would like to work with the both of you, because with talented photographers, our pictures could express the love we have for each other beyond words.”

That sentence is not only beyond humbling, but her feelings are the exact reason why we love what we do so much. Photography allows us to feel what we can’t always find words for. We were instantly excited to have the opportunity to photograph their connection  and get to know them better.The two of them love to hike and showed us a new part of the Niagara Region we hadn’t discovered in this way before! We hiked down to Decew Falls in St.Catharines (with a small rope rappelling section that we all survived). After we patched up a few minor bumps, we played some romantic EDM and ventured further to the falls.

The light in combination with the lush greenery and mist from the waterfall made for a truly whimsical vision. We felt like we were in another part of the world! After Decew Falls we went to Sunset Beach which is one of the best sunset locations in St.Catharines. They popped (and sprayed) some bubbles in the park then cozied on the beach until last light.

Their enthusiasm for this time in their lives, their perception of the importance of this experience and their passion for each other is something we’re very grateful to witness. We are so incredibly excited and humbled to be documenting their Icelandic wedding in 2021!
